About Us
The Salinas Valley Ammonia Safety Day (SVASD) provides a unique educational forum for Industry, the Public, and First Responders, stressing the importance of safe handling and preparing for chemical incidents of hazardous materials. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities for the awareness and safe use of ammonia and other hazardous chemicals.
Sponsors
Gold & Platinum sponsors will have the opportunity to participate in a tabletop training exercise with Monterey County emergency responders. The joint-training exercise is designed to achieve the Federal EPA RMP “coordination requirements” with the with local public first responders.
